TESSA et IFADEM

In October 2011 TESSA held a joint 2 day seminar in Brussels with the Initiative francophone pour la formation à distance des maîtres (IFADEM). The purpose was to review the mission and activities of the two organisations with a view to possible joint activities. OU colleagues were joined by our Togolese partner Mme Amivi Komlan, from the Direction de Formation and TESSA Executive Chair Prof Jophus Anamuah-Mensah. Discussion was lively and the commitment to joint working was captured in a Communiqué which can be viewed in English and French on the TESSA website under the “News” section and on the IFADEM site.

The seminar also offered an opportunity for sharing experience in the professional development of school teachers in Francophone and Anglophone countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
